Go on an adventure with us!
Welcome to the Armadale 4WD Club
The club was formed in 1984 by a small group who saw the need for a 4wd club in the Armadale area. The club has grown over the last 40 years and now has over 45 members, we are also affiliated with the W.A. 4WD Association (inc).
Over the years the club has hosted many events, including the Inter-Club Gymkhana, Bush Dance and Night Navigation. We are a family orientated club with members ranging from teenagers through to retirees. The club has 12 committee members that meet once a month to deal with club administration and also a social committee who organise trips, fundraisers and other social events.
How to become a member
We ask that visitors come along to two meetings and two trips before applying for membership, this gives you a chance to see what we are all about, and also gives us a chance to get to know a bit about you.
Meetings are held 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except January).
Membership cost is $80 p/a. This includes a Digital club magazine each month with information about club trips, tracks, trip reports and photos etc
Trips and Activities
Trips and Activities are run throughout the year. Any member can run a trip which could be something as simple as a drive along the beach to something more challenging like a four week trek on the canning stock route.
We also have weekend trips, overnighters or just a day run, visitor’s are more than welcome to attend any trip free of charge and depending on their experience will be guided and advised on how to tackle any obstacles that we may encounter en-route.
Benefits
Some of the benefits of being in a 4WD Club include the 4WD insurance scheme, having other vehicles with you on trips, members with years of experience in the 4WD and knowledge of the bush, tracks, fishing, camping, navigation, vehicle maintenance etc
