Another great weekend at Willow Brook caravan park, this time we held a Potluck Dinner instead of Xmas in July due to Covid19.
Whilst the adult’s setup camp and relaxed afterwards with a few drinks & catching with everyone at their various campsites, the kids entertained themselves, climbing the large tree, visiting the chicken coop, or just roaming the grounds. At 4.30pm was the animal feeding time, and the kids were given bags of food and hay to feed the animals as well going on quad/trailer rides.

Around 6.00pm everyone started bringing their Pot Luck Dinners into the Shearing Shed (little Owen asked Nanny Di when was the Restaurant going to open?) by 6.30 everyone was sitting down to share the various Pot Luck meals for dinner, there was such a variety and people even went back for 2nds.

Di set up an Ice cream station which was a hit with both little and big kids who enjoyed their ice-cream cones with 100/1000’s and chocolate topping. As well as the ice-cream we had a nice variety of desert for those who managed to fit it in.
Few people left after the meals to either sit by the fire, take the kids to bed or stayed in the shearing shed drinking and chatting under the patio heater.

During Saturday night the rain came in, come Sunday morning it was a fine drizzle, but everyone was still in good spirits waiting for the scones. Felicity went around the park at 9.30am with the bell to inform everyone the scones were ready, social distancing was observed by all, and no one was going to miss out on those famous scones made by Lil and Bill.

Once again thankyou everyone for coming to a long and shared your potluck meals, it was a great weekend away. Sandra & Rob
